Well Kingston, I'm going to try an RMA an SSD that I originally paid $70 for, and now retails for over $200.
May the odds ever be in my favour.

Stairs π etc. I post my weird shit here so my real life can stay normal! βͺI've been using em and en dashes for years. If you think good grammar is the product of AI, then you are the idiot that AI is replacing.

If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

So the more you grow up starved of oxygen, the more you vote for the Conservative Party of Canada.
Now it makes sense.
WHAT THE FUCK
Intrigued to see how Sergeant Major Shelby isn't digging tunnels in WW2.
My first playthrough was 160 hours. I'd covered most of the map and was just wandering in this sparce edge of itβfiguring I'd seen basically everything and it was finally time to finish the main story.
Then I hit a tunnel to fukken BLACKREACH.
My jaw hit the floor. What a helluva game.
This isn't even fair.
19.02.2026 02:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh yeah, it's taking up only 2.5 GB of RAM when nothing's running. And about that much of storage space.
I can't believe I thought I needed to know how to code in order to use Linux. Linux Mint is easy as fuck.
Still waiting for the roadblock where I need to use Windows to run something. β
Wild take: but maybe we should stop merging corporate conglomerates so their executives can make billions for doing virtually nothing?
Maybe we should let antitrust laws do their thing for once? Even by accident?
Hey, my HDDs keep spinning when not in use. Can I stop that?
*Googles*
*opens Disks apps, clicks three dots, clicks drive settings, toggles standby timer*

I was today years old when I learned that Linux can be easier to use than Windows.
The Gem app has some decent stuff on it too

Ironically projecting big Divorced Dad energy.
Took a little learning, but now have Linux Mint running off a $11 USB drive. Pretty good so far, especially because I'm just doing browser stuff 95% of the time?
The UI is mostly familiar too. Seems like a good transition GUI. Can't be worse than SAP (fuck you SAP).
Long live open source.
I read this as "Will you be my Palestine" and I couldn't stop laughing.
Take that Pizza Hut.
When I turned 20, I'd just lost my job, my full-ride scholarship, and failed 2nd year Engineering.
When I turned 30, I was again unemployed.
Now I'm turning 40, have a job, but living with my parents.
The lesson is life doesn't get better the next decade so go ahead and kill yourself.
After some careful consideration, I like to announce that my opinion on this post has stayed exactly the same.

If it were released this year, it would depict 1981. The year it actually came out.
You're welcome for the psychic damage.
Dear Tech Sector: please PLEASE stop making us use SMS two-factor authentication.
God help me if I ever have to change my cell phone number, because I would lose access to a ton of important shit.
Not to mention how vulnerable it is to SIM swapping and interception.

Inner city businesses aren't failing because public servants are WFH. They're failing because their hours suck, the cost of living sucks, and no one can afford to buy shit.
What happens after RTO5 and these business are still failing? Does WFH come back?
So much for the post-strike promises.π
Oh shit, that's a pic I didn't know I needed

Without me knowing? Against my will? On a week that I can't do it because I don't have childcare that week?

I've been advocating to get both for a while. The F-35 is more capable by orders of magnitude, but the Gripen can help rebuild the Canadian aerospace defence industry.
It'll be expensive as hell, and the growing pains will suck, but we've had multiple fighter platforms before. Time to do it again.
And like Queen, Sleep Token isn't well-received by a lot of people. Folks expecting metal get this weird pop music they hate, and people wanting moody downtempo pop/soul/electronica get these nasty mental instruments too.
It's growing on me!
*listens for a few hours*
Yeah I think I like Sleep Token now.
It's a good focus or study music. Part chill, part rock ballad, part prog, with a weird fusion of other genre-crossing styles (including elements I hate, admittedly). It's kind of like Queen, mixing non-traditional with metal.
Good shit that I didn't know about browser privacy.
Also, fuck you internet. I quit.
Aww man.
Yeah, I turned the crypto wallet thing off (for whatever good that does), but now I'm understanding the grift.
God damn it.
Wait, what? I thought it was supposed to do the total opposite of that. π§

I hated when they nerfed Smithing.
God damn son, it's a single player game. Don't make it harder and longer to get good you bastards.
