With the help of a paralegal friend and the county attorney, we found out that the law office wanted testimony from the Custodian *of Records.* Instead they subpoenaed me, the Lead Custodian, aka the Janitor at Animal Control. 2/3

I received my first ever subpoena at work yesterday. I work for my county's animal control so getting one is not unusual for SOME of the staff here. Knowing I did nothing wrong, I was both completely confused but also low-key excited about the process. 1/3

Probably just trying to intimidate everyone. I grew up and still live in a tornado prone area so I'm used to sirens, but even during storms they don't go on for that long!
