Non-alcoholic summery cherry drink I whipped up tonight!
- 6 canned mandarin orange slices
- 1oz of the juice
~ 2 tsp trader joe’s tart cherry spread
Muddle in the shaker
- 2 1/2oz seedlip grove 42
- splash of grenadine for color
- 2 dashes orange bitters
Shake and double strain, then garnish
The Midori Splice! This was super delicious and relatively low-ABV:
- 1 oz midori
- 1 oz malibu
- 4 oz pineapple juice
shake gently with ice

and add the tea as needed. To get the purple color, I only used the deepest blood oranges I had. Any that were too orange were made into a cordial.
Regular tangerine or even orange juice works just fine if blood oranges aren’t in season. If you do want alcohol added, I recommend a spiced rum.
Once again, I’m turning to Elva Ramirez’s book, Zero Proof, for this recipe. I use regular decaf black tea. It may seem like a lot of work and ingredients, but you can blend together canned mandarins, frozen pineapple, (i used lychee) calpico, and the blood orange juice together ahead of time +

Another modification from Elva Ramirez’s book! Instead of using the vanilla and chai syrup, I used 1/4 oz cinnamon syrup, 1/4 oz chai concentrate, 1/4 oz simple syrup, and a dash of vanilla. Definitely keep it light on the seltzer
