@mtgcritical.bsky.social asked me to paint a Fleem cosplaying as Niv Mizzet. I twisted it slightly into adorable post trick or treating Fleem in a Niv Mizzet costume. He turned out pretty cute.

genuinely, fleem seems like a really fun card to pilot in standard, i would probably pivot to grixis looting if vv got banned just cuz it seems really cool and fun to play

but ive definitely had games where i won without the cauldron or without vv, those games have felt a lot more interesting to me as a pilot than the games where i assemble 20+ damage in one turn, much to think about

im no pro but a lot of vvc does feel kinda luck based, getting the combo is kinda inconsistent and you have a lot of looting to help find it faster but you can still get outpaced very quickly

curious if the main reason mono red is doing so well rn is because vv c is 25% of the meta or if vvc is keeping it in check, to be seen i suppose, seriously doubt that wotc is gonna ban vv though atp it kinda feels like its being checked by a lot of decks rn

vv cauldron isnt overwhelming the meta anymore but i still hope that it gets banned cuz i dont wanna play it anymore LOL
