Very very alarming. This winter’s Flu A decimated healthcare resources and it’s still going. We have holds upon holds upon holds. These are really sick people who rapidly decline and needed advanced airway. I can’t fathom people not having flu vac for next winter!

#4 is already so so so bad. Just the lack of any public alarm or information with the recent uptick of Flu A is already causing a strain on resources. People are sicker than ever and requiring care with resources that are not enough and staff that don’t exist.

Harriet the Spy was such an important film in my formative years and my introduction to American culture. Michelle Trachtenberg was brilliant in it, what a loss.

I am getting better at identifying the feelings that anxiety gives me. Right now, for instance, the anxiety is saying that I am doomed and powerless to change any of it, resistance is futile. But I know that’s not true! I am merely overwhelmed but still am capable.
