I was at a campaign event yesterday & a politician friend made this very important point to me: we can talk about all the different MN elections in Nov, but none of them is as close and crucial to fighting fascism than reelecting Keith Ellison

It was a year ago that protests began at the Tesla showroom just outside of Minneapolis (Golden Valley). The “Tesla Takedown” protests occurred worldwide after Elon Musk, who gave nazi salutes the month prior, took a major role in the new Trump Administration.

I believe there are already reported incidents like this that resulted in sexual assault (at least in other states) and there's no doubt in my mind it's happening here.

Living in Minnesota right now feels like being in the emergency room. Literally everyone is suffering in different ways, even if it's "just" a badly twisted ankle rather than a kidney stone or a full-on heart attack. The staff are working as hard as they can but energy and resources are dwindling.

My initial post is not meant to be exclusive. Part of what pissed me off this morning is that there's queer romance authors and queer romance readers.

Anyway, happy month of bad romance takes.
