Pelican on the lake. The only wildlife so far apart from some mangy dogs and a well-fed rat.

The pretty startling giant and brightly-coloured Buddha in the image house at Gangamaraya temple, there is a woman making an offering.

View from the top of the 350-metre high Lotus Tower, a green and purple monstrosity. Slightly hazy day but still pretty good views.

Some pics from Colombo 🇱🇰, not an attractive city if truth be told! Very different from the rest of SL hopefully. Final ODI 🏏 tomorrow, then the tour of the island begins! 😊

Absolutely gorgeous! I remember a strange incident when I saw them live, around the time of The Caution Horses. They were playing at a theatre “in the round”. Between songs a guy shouted out to ask if a fellow sitting opposite could take off his bright red jumper as it was distracting him! 1/2
