I was skinny and muscular AF when I was in my late 20s and early 30s.
Which means I was very comfortable showing off my body.

Why am I mentioning this?

I'm about to become the most insufferable (shirtless) kind of trans guy after top surgery.

It's surreal when someone constantly tells you that you're like another person, and you think it means in a very specific context.

But then you meet this person and experience their work.

And you realize you are indeed very much like this other person.

I am such a dummy... I'm pretty sure the personal trainer at the gym was hitting on me. 🙃

Started my medical transition at 36 and my professional transition at 37.

It has greatly shifted my priorities. Now, I'm motivated by showing others what you can accomplish - regardless of your transition.

But what else will I do with the $100k burning a hole in my pocket?

Surely there's no other good I can do with that money.

Also, I'm so ready for Gamehole Con.
I managed to snag a room less than a mile from the con and have secured time off.

That was my issue when my ex invited me to expat with him & his spouse/kid.
While he was my only relationship at the time, I had so many platonic and community-driven relationships that it was a difficult decision to make.

This is an important point, but telehealth isn't just important for people with disabilities. Sometimes, it's the only way a person can access preventative or routine care.

Had my first encounter with an obviously AI generated statement in the workplace.
I had to do a lot of editing to make it acceptable for the intended recipient.

Things always seem simpler in the past. Nostalgia only highlights the burden of experience.

This guy just got back from 4 nights of daycare and he will not stop being my affectionate little shadow.

I think there's a difference between "managing up" and "improving your superior's performance."

The first one is basically a requirement for a lot of white collar jobs.
The latter is never worth the effort.

Since insurance won't cover "just see if I'm dead" check-ins, I have 2 options:

1) pay out of pocket to get an aide to check in on me 1x/day

2) offer to buy dinner for a different friend each night

Is "transgender for everybody" this administration's "a chicken in every pot"?

I love having to explain to my health insurance's health advocate that I may need a home health aide just to check in on me once a day post-op to make sure I'm not dead.
