A word on Team Mongolia. They are the most interesting team on Physical Asia.

Three typical athletes, and then a smallish MMA guy - the other MMA guys are big fellas, an ultra light carney - no one has a carney, and a heavy weight lady judoka - who may well be team MVP.

I think I'm Team Mongolia.

And that's it. The Aussies overplayed their hand, and ended up with a less than ideal team for the elimination task.

If the Green and Yellow go home in the next episode, I won't be surprised.

Finally, Dom's snarky insinuations of cheating are so cheap. Aussies amiright?

Watched the last episode of Physical Asia and the smartalec in me thinks the producers had set up a trap for the Aussies

A pretty simple one - a irresistibly high risk high reward task

Australia decided the risk was worth it. The other teams knew Australia would take the risk and played it safe

The only diversity i hate is Physical ASIA adding in white people with completely different body builds than Asians

Anyway I got late for bjj class because me and the wife were watching Physical Asia and she got so enthu she asked to wrestle with me.

I obliged, ofcourse. Practice is practice.

I've done like ten today just because I can.

It's a little bizzare tbh. Six months ago I was speaking to a friend, and he's a black belt, and I asked him if he could do cossack squats and he said no.

So me being able to do now is very much out of left field.

Anyway, got get back to my squats..

Anil from Team Turkiye is a dead ringer for Hassan Abi.

Palantir says college is no longer a reliable training groundโ€”so it hired 22 high school students instead: โ€˜Skip the debt. Skip the indoctrination.' | Fortune 22 Gen Zers are currently graduating from Palantirโ€™s Meritocracy Fellowship, as CEO Alex Karp calls his company "the best credential in tech."

Why even wait until they finish school?

Just hire kids to clean the chimneys when they are old enough to walk.

So I've managed to do Cossack Squats after doing hip mobility exercises for about a month and it's blowing my mind.

Additionally, The resistance I'd feel in bending to pick stuff up has also disappeared.

Happily taking the extra W.

Hmm.. It could be as wide as 16-45 honestly.

But I think that my age group - 30 to 40 guys is probably the best place for recruiting, given that so many is if are just young boomers with bitter divorcee energy.

10.11.2025 20:38 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Maybe they were hoping he'd lose and that they wouldn't need to bring him up at all?

Dunno what's up with my IG feed but it's been non stop Indians hating on Zohran.

I can accept that my age bracket and interests in mma put me squarely in the far right recruitment zone. But why after he won and not before?

IT cell is slipping.

I did that to my parents a coupla times. Probably was the last few times they brought it up.

I know Indians are joking about how their parents will now compare them to Zohran because he's mayor of NYC, but we need to acknowledge that he tried his hand at being a rapper first.

In the first challenge, we know there are several judoka, but not one tomoe nage? I thought the judoka would be tossing people left and right.

Also was it against the rules to throw people down the raised field? That's what I'd have tried

The trash talking is so bad lol. A given because of the lack of a common language.

These tasks are.. Not particularly athletics focused. I think this show would be just as entertaining if it was regular folk. This is just Roadies for athletes.

Waste of talent of all these world class athletes.

How Queen Victoria Became the Biggest Drug Dealer of All Time Sam Kelly explains how Queen Victoria became a huge fan of drugsโ€”and how she brought China to its knees because of it.

I find it quite amusing that they chose poppies
Considering the British monarchy was the first cartel
"...opium sales were responsible for 15 to 20% of the British Empireโ€™s entire annual revenue."

So. What corporate America learnt from 2008, was that you can do whatever the fuck you want - as long as you make it the government's problem.

Hence, the chain of circular investment around Open AI.

And the reason I'm hearing the phrase 'too big to fail' again.

Rewatching Kill Bill 2 (I like Micheal Madsen a lot) and just remembered when some guy tried to pass off Bill's opinion on superman as his own.

Why even.

There was a significant amount of ritual, that I guess is to be expected in any Japanese cultural export. But I've always found that it's not for me.

Reminds me too much of organized religion, which I detest strongly but that's not a criticism of Kendo or Japan.

So I went to my first Kendo class today and it was pretty cool.

The sensei was this nice older gentleman, who was so invested and gentle that I just wanted to hug him and ask him to adopt me.

I did not know this movie was this good. The first 90 or so minutes were definitely a slog. But worth it.

Damn.
