December 13th and 14th, the BSO presents: Tchaikovsky with Speed Painter Scramble Campbell! Campbell creates a painting while the Orchestra performs. Paintings will be auctioned off after the concerts, with proceeds benefiting the BSO and the Broomfield Community Foundation. broomfieldsymphony.org

Update on our Timpani Drive! Thank you all to those who contributed! The BSO raised over $4,200 and was able to purchase a set of timpani used by the Blue Knights for one season from Denver Percussion for a little over $10,000! We couldn't have done it without your support! Check them out in action!

We had a great time at our last concert of the season this weekend. Our new timpani made it's debut, thanks in large part to our patrons and donors. We hope we'll see some families this summer at one of our booths at a BCAH event for some musical fun, or perhaps at Broomfield Days this year!

Spotlight on Alexander Peterson! He will be performing Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor at our May 24 concert! He began studying cello at six and performs with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra for years and participated in the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival in Corvallis, OR. Congratulations!

Spotlight on Mariel Bochner! She is one of our Young Artist Competition Winners who will perform the Glazunov Violin Concerto at our May 24 concert. Mariel began violin studies at age 3 and has attended the Meadowmount School of Music and Colorado Music Festival among others! Congratulations to her!
