I didn’t say he couldn’t do anything he wants. The fact that he could legally through congress but isolated choosing to do it otherwise is telling. His policies aren’t popular and congresspeople could not afford to go along with them. But the results of the election mean he does not have a mandate.

Again, I don’t disagree but I don’t see winning with one of the slimmest margins ever and less than 50% as providing a mandate.

I’m not arguing that. My point is he’s not that popular and he certainly doesn’t have a mandate.

More people voted for someone other than him. He lost more votes than he got.

I’m confused what you think I’m saying. And I’m confused by your comment that the men don’t want health insurance and paid sick leave and all of those things. I’m a man and I absolutely wanted those so I could better care for my family.

This is why I don’t understand Elons stance on declining birth rates. The way to address that is to address the things people need to feel comfortable having kids - m/paternity leave, a living wage, paid sick leave, health care, and daycare and education for the kids.

The U.S. is no longer on the side of the good guys.
