I figured out I was a trans girl at 22 but I'd been defensive enough about the standard playground degendering bullying from about 7 or 8 that there were persistent rumours, and I think at least some of the kids sincerely thought it, by my teens...

This is true. Having photos in your own home is a different beast from having photos on social media, especially if they're not visible from outside. Consider hiding them if you're expecting the landlord or the cops or some other representative of authority though, like we do revolutionary books

The harder it is for the cops, paramilitaries, etc to describe an individual protestor in ways that easily distinguishes them from other protestors, the harder it is for them to coordinate snatch squads.
