For years, my org @fightforthefuture.org has begged mainstream LGBTQ orgs to take surveillance seriously as an issue impacting queer and trans folks.

Yes, everyone needs to take steps to protect themselves, but we also need the lobbying powerhouses that are supposed to represent us to come correct
