Calling these thick boys done. Not too fond of the basing but at least it isn't glossy any more. Lots of little mistakes this time around but I'll let them pass because it's an army project and I can't be fixing all the little stuff all the time😅

Several warhammer ork models are placed in a battle scene between several of the cactuses.
An array of warhammer cactuses made of styrofoam balls, toothpicks stuck in, and covered in sand for texture. The bodies are painted in a gradient of dark green to near yellow and the spikes are painted from red to orange.
One of the cactuses that I have nicknamed The Snowman due to it being three spheres of decreasing sizes stack on top of each other

A low view down a wide alley full of leaking trash bags, broken pallets and forgotten shipments. Pizza boxes, recycled packaging and all kinds of dirt and trash litter the alley. Tags and names scrawled on the walls of the rundown, filthy buildings with the painted name of the Escher Matriarch of the Chemtown Blades herself overseeing it all.
A higher, diagonal view of the whole alley. More of the trash can be seen from this angle, some piled up, some scattered. The sides of the two smaller buildings can be seen more clearly on the right. Dirty cardboard and other rubbish is scattered and piling up at the foot of the back wall and bulging refuse sacks spill from the gap between the two low, dirty buildings.

I made these using balsa wood, coffee stirrers, glasses wipes, PVA glue, sand, and a variety of acrylic paints. I sprayed them black and then dry brushed them, before glueing down the sand and staining it.

As seen in this angle the trapdoor opens onto a small landing. The uneven brick pillars are more sturdy than they look.
