I feel bad for the people who are depriving themselves of the comfort and convenience of things like crocs, and minivans, all because they think it comes from some misguided sense of β€œstyle.” Life is too short man.

IF the Pacers somehow win this series… this picture will be part of Indiana hoops folklore forever.

Watching college football players get calls from nfl teams, then celebrating with their families is my favorite thing about the draft. So much pure happiness and joy. A celebration of a little community who all invested in a person, then they all get to share in the joy. It’s the best.

Not to take the wind out of your sails but as a BTTF literalist Doc programmed the date into the Delorean because it’s when he invented the flux capacitor and Marty went there as an accident because he was evading Libyan terrorists.

Anyone in Denver been fooled by the Top Dog Law radio commercials, thinking it was an Ice T deep cut? #

Finally made the permanent switch last night. Heard some truly disturbing things about the other place from people extremely close to what’s happening in DC. Safe to say, that’s all I needed to hear.

The Year of the NFL’s Running Back Revival The running back market hit rock bottom in 2023. Now, thanks to transcendent seasons from Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry, the position is cooler, and more relevant, than ever.

If you played in the street, you wanted to be picked to play RB.

If you played youth ball, you wanted to be RB.

If you created a player in a video game, you wanted to be RB.

They tried to bury the coolest position in football, but 2024 was a RB renaissance: theringer.com/2025/01/10/n...

Saw a crime scene on the south platte trail just north of Florida. Looked like a response to a possible dead body. Sad.

I was a 3x a week runner between 2003-10, 2020-2022.

A 6K mile a year bike rider between 2007-2020.

A weight lifter for the past year.

Of all the exercise I’ve done, nothing has made me feel better about my body or has transformed my appearance so significantly as weightlifting.

Just start.

but I deeply resent the Cub Scout structure that made it nearly impossible for me to keep up with my peers, punctuated by the pine wood derby. I was glad when the church left bsa and we are better off without them.

Appreciate your story. Mine was similar. My father died when I was young and my mom didn’t re-marry. For the most part I didn’t feel left out or less than, except when it came to cub scouts and the ole β€œfather son” camp out. It’s no one’s fault,

Me too. I try to be supportive of my fellow cyclists - but I feel a significant proportion of bike-salmon are just too lazy to bother. Which angers me.

I’m working in one of the migrant shelters that Denver has set up for refugees, and it makes me incredibly proud of our city. From my vantage point, the conditions are safe, welcoming, and comfortable. I can’t imagine what they’ve suffered through to get here.
