Apparently, Godot used to use Lua, but they replaced it because of issues with performance, C++ bindings, garbage collecting, and more.

What's an example? Filling out dense PDFs is the main annoyance, but I use a web app for that.

I'd be way more open to Ironman if that were the case.

Eh, I've had a total of 10 hours with it before it crapped out. Although, support has been decent and is sending over a replacement.

Btw you can go to the Old Wise Man in Draynor Village to get rid of quest items you don't need. It more so helps mid-late game accounts, but it's good to remember.

Just try to have fun. If you can ignore that feeling of being overwhelmed, and just start messing around, it becomes more entertaining. It allows you to be more surprised.

Yeah, it's hard to juggle everything you have to learn. I've been doing a little of both. I block out a scene in Godot, then spend some time learning to build the models that I need. Although, texturing and baking becomes a whole other rabbit hole.
