Been a week since shoulder surgery. Probably okay to start hiking again, right?

45 minutes after eating mushrooms in the parking lot:

You’d be my favorite mechanic ever.

So weird how no matter what time of day I call the mechanic I need to speak to is always “at lunch.”

Since you asked, I had the battery recall done and it “passed” but while driving last week on the freeway, it shut off all power to the electrical motor, the check engine light went on and the service charging system kept flashing. It is currently undriveable and has to be towed to a dealership.

I was close.

I’d been constantly hiccuping for the past 2 days but they finally stopped this morning. Also I sold a Lollapalooza t-shirt I’ve had for 33 years on eBay. So far, pretty good Thursday.

My shoulder surgery / labrum repair used a tiny bit of Kevlar so now I assume I’m a tiny bit bulletproof.

I had shoilder surgery today. I’m back home, groggy as hell but watching live Osees footage and constantly saying, “I love this band.”

Growing up my nickname was “Batteries” because I was usually not included.

Spending the afternoon before my shoulder surgery exactly the way I wanted, debating my local CVS about why they haven’t filled a prescription they’ve had for over a week.
