Yup, same. I'm in TN, have PCOS, and have been trying to get myself sterilized since I was diagnosed in 2010 when I was in my early 20's. I have no children and haven't wanted them since middle school. But it's always "what if you change your mind?" It's a dystopian, forced birth nightmare.

I'm in the middle of reading this, and, while I'm very familiar with the struggles of being a woman in a man's world, the additional layer of tension in every scene due to the women's Blackness is near unfathomable.

It's a hard read, but books like this are so important for white people to consume.
