What's it like inside your head?

A friend came over to help me set up my graphics monitor and printer on my Linux system. I hoped to learn something about Linux in the process. I learned that getting peripherals to play nice is like 20x more complicated than I imagined. I don't understand what she did, but at least it's working.

I used to work in jewelry sales and repair. I've had to size a lot of people's fingers over the years. Men, on average, do have thicker digits. While there is some overlap, it was rare to see a man with a finger size below 8 or a woman above size 9. Unlike clothes, jewelry uses just 1 sizing scale.
