The majority of current wip (Raziel's Jewel) takes place in the span of 4 days (plus a prologue that'll take place a few months before). So the past gets revealed piece by piece as it becomes relevant to the chars now #awesomecharacters

One of my last scenes in this WIP is smut and I'll be real, I'm not feeling in a very lusty mood but the chars deserve it so I'll try my best and fix it in post 😝

Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman is a sort of "found footage" style book told in documents, maps, and letters. It was ALL THE RAGE in like 2015 and I always meant to read it and then... did not 😅 It seems like a very immersive reading experience tho! #tbruary

ON THE LAST CHAPTER OF THIS WIP! (minus maybe an epilogue)

Wordlessly, she untangled herself from his embrace and took his hands in hers. The gold cuffs on his wrists were wider and finer than chains, but she still saw the shackles that he had fought against. She turned his hand over, tracing the lines on his palm. The skin felt rough, but it looked soft. She had never thought much of that. “Did you see it?” he asked. His voice was small, tentative. She wished he were teasing her again. She nodded. “Did you?” “Yes.” She unclasped the cuff around his wrist. She ran her hands along his forearm, so strong and so smooth. But there was something beneath it, like he wore a second skin atop the first. “This is a glamour, isn’t it?” “I’m surprised you know about that.” She rolled her eyes. “I know some things about magic.”

I should've used the scarecrow book today ahaha. BUT I do have a recent tbr add, Doll Girl Meets Dead Guy by Lidiya Foxglove. I've read another series of hers where the MC is a doll-person (sort of like a fantasy android) and this is a spinoff w a side char and a necromanced soldier #tbruary

I'll def report back! Whenever I get to reading it lol. I'm gonna try and read everything I talked about in the game over the next while haha

In my main current wip the characters are... gasp... mostly heterosexual. I say mostly because I'm pretty sure Raziel would be into gay sex if the mood struck him. He's slept around, experimented. But it's not really relevant to the story, so I haven't explored it much 😅
