It would only take three GOP senators to reclaim the party and functionally nullify the presidency for the next three years. They’d be the most powerful voting bloc on Earth overnight. With 12 GOP Senators and 3 representatives this could all be over in a matter of days if they fast tracked it.

Unfortunately I think norms, decorum, and intelligence aside the GOP is firmly stuck in a sunk cost fallacy state at this point.

I was fortunate going to college in northeast missouri so I got to listen to other people’s records and just see the bands. The first time I heard TGUK was at the first st. louis show where they played something to write home about material.

We’re left with little alternative at the moment. I’m not saying we should be throwing our hands in the air and saying “fuck it,” because our entrenched two party system is bullshit we “have to live with” but the effective strategies of grassroots organizing take a long time to bubble up.

She probably would have been awful, but you know that normal kind of awful we used to have. At this point I’d take Bush/Cheney back.
