Volleyball School.

You probably did see a POLO Harlekin. There were more of them in Europe than the Golf Harlequin variant there or in the US. POLO is a similar, but smaller car than the Golf. Neat little cars, never sold in the US. "Lots" running around here now that they're over 25 years old, though.

A guy in my town (Louisville KY) had one for a little while and recently had it up for sale. Possibly the same one you spotted!

Funnily enough, this is actually a VW POLO Harlekin. Never actually sold in the US (until it got old enough to be imported into the US easily), so it's even more rare than the Golf Harlequin that was sold here.

Yep. I don’t mind loud cars. Even cars that are intentionally modified to be louder, but the “pop and bang” shit is insufferable.

If anything it’s an excuse to get your own smoker ;)

My pleasure, even easier though, smoked cream cheese in general. A block of cream cheese, seasoned however you like, smoked low in a smoker (on a cookie sheet so it doesn’t fall through), covered in some kind chili jam, or hot honey, whatever sticky sugary goo you like, people go nuts for it. Enjoy!

The beauty of something like this is it’s amazing (maybe even better?) reheated. I do it the day before in a tossable aluminum pan so I can just reheat in any oven (or low grill I guess), and leave it where it lays.

You are very welcome. It’s a real crowd pleaser. If you’re leaving out the bacon, I’d suggest maybe MORE Parmesan and smoke longer for more salty smoky vibes, but do you!

(It is vital to smoke the cream cheese with plenty of whatever seasonings you like and finish the dip in a smoker)
