16 years ago today, Lady Gaga released “Paparazzi.”

a big fluffy samoyed sits back on his hind two feet in front of a forested path. the dog has his front paws held up and in like short t-rex arms, and his mouth is hanging open, revealing his soft pink tongue. amid the fluff atop his head, it’s hard to say for sure, but it seems one ear is pointing up while the other points out to his right.

This is Aslan. He is the mystic guardian of this enchanted forest. Will not let you pass unless you answer his tricky riddles or give him 3 pats on the noggin. Your choice. 13/10

Pronghorn have an interesting warning system.
They fluff up the hair on their butt kinda like a white tail deer will lift his tail when he's excited or afraid and wants to warn others of danger.

First photo, the young one was unsure about my presence but the other was old enough to not care.

Arizona dog found a missing 2-year-old on his nightly patrol that a local rescue team spent 16 hours searching for. 15/10

a gray and white pup with a blocky head has her paws up on the edge of a wooden table. her ears are back very demurely, and she’s sticking the tip of her tongue out while making super intentional eye contact with you.

This is Dixie. She's only sticking her tongue out to give you a convenient place to put treats. It's called being considerate. 12/10

This is Zuko. He has decided he's done with winter. If anyone can expedite the arrival of summer, he'd really appreciate it. 12/10

I am having a week from hell at work fr 🥲 and I thought I was gonna be feeling sooo good after today too hahaha jokes on me!!

An orphaned wolf pup named Amora has been paired with a rescue puppy named Slinky. Amora needs socialization to develop properly and Slinky is happy to provide it. Sedgwick County Zoo shared that "Slinky’s playful nature is helping her grow into the wolf she is meant to be." 13/10 for both

a bronze plaque of a man in armor who looks down at a dog sitting at his feet. the man pets the dog with his left hand. the entire dog and a little bit of the plaque surrounding him is shiny and much brighter than the rest of the plaque from hundreds of years of people petting him.

This plaque in Prague has been rubbed to a shiny gold because for centuries, passersby have touched the dog for good luck, and also to reassure him that he's a very good boy. 14/10

it snowed in Savannah last week! it was cute tho bc we had elearning days all week so I didn’t have to leave the house & even Jacob got a couple days off :’) & now this week temps are getting into the 60s & 70s n I’m so excited 🥰 bc it’s been cold for a hot minute actually

a slightly damp golden retriever puppy leaps toward the camera with his front paws right at the bottom of the frame. his ears are flapping out away from his head a bit, and he has the sweetest look in his eyes. his tiny razor-sharp teeth are pristine, and his tongue is a little wrinkled like it doesn’t fully fit in his face yet.

This is Drake. He is very happy to see you. Saw you about five minutes ago, but is thrilled it's happening again. 12/10
