I got really lucky and thrifted a sable brush last year. Never used one before, and will never replace it. Synthetic brushes are sooo good nowadays, I worried I was missing out but they're genuinely as good if not better than animal fibers, you just gotta find the nice ones!!

This is a bit outside of my usual “yore” timeframe but I love everything about it. Writing on the back indicates that this is “Freddy” in the sink, 1981.
