13.03.2025 09:20 β π 8 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0Thread: Today see's the launch of @hopenothate.org.uk yearly State of Hate 2025 Report. Unsurprisingly, with the state of things at the moment its our biggest ever at 140 pages and 110 far-right individuals and organisations profiled. Download it here:

State of Hate 2025 is a great piece of work, and hats off to all my colleagues.
What I've outlined here is just a fraction of what's in the report. You can download the whole thing for free from our website.

And there's also a horrifying piece by
@patrikhermansson.bsky.social on the 764 group; an online exploitation cult that is grooming teenagers for violence and suffering for its own sake.
hopenothate.org.uk/state-of-hat...
We also have an excellent long-read by @gregorydavishnh.bsky.social on the ins-and-outs of Reform UK and the threat it poses.
hopenothate.org.uk/state-of-hat...
Another is a piece I've written that looks at some of the features of last year's outbreak of racist rioting which followed the horrific Southport murders.
I show how the riots were a product of our post-organisational far right.

There are a few featured articles on our website.
One is an analysis of the row between Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson as Farage tries to detoxify his political brand.
@nicklowles.bsky.social has the details.

π§΅Today @hopenothate.org.uk have released our State of Hate 2025 report.
A massive project, its main themes are the rise of Reform UK, last yearβs racist rioting and the street movement aligned with Tommy Robinson.
Loads of analysis to get stuck into.

27.02.2025 16:15 β π 187 π 74 π¬ 5 π 2New one from @hopenothate.org.uk on Britain First's shambolic showing in Nuneaton on the weekend.
We tracked down the big screen company. Interestingly, the quote we received for the same package as BF was about Β£1,800 cheaper than what they told supporters they'd paid.
What's going on there? π€
π₯ NEW: With a poor turnout and unfulfilled promises, Britain Firstβs Nuneaton rally on Saturday was a shambles.
We have also uncovered a puzzle about the cost of the big screen hired for the event: why was our quote much cheaper for the exact same set-up?

"Hope Not Hateβs investigation found that members of 764 chase the thrill of inflicting pain, coupled with a desire to carve out infamy as the most unhinged members of the group."

We have identified the man known as "Zoomer Historian", a Hitler-apologist content creator and Homeland Party activist with over 171,000 subscribers on YouTube.

06.01.2025 18:47 β π 21 π 7 π¬ 0 π 0π¨ Andrew McIntyre, sentenced today to 7.5 years, was a key instigator of last yearβs racist riots.
Hereβs how HOPE not hate identified him and helped bring him to justice. π§΅

Enormous news. Andrew McIntyre has been sentenced to 7 and a half years for being a key instigator of last yearβs racist riots. He was identified by @gregorydavishnh.bsky.social
of @hopenothate.org.uk who used some amazing OSINT work to find him. Read it all here: hopenothate.org.uk/2025/01/06/t...
Repeated intrusions by so-called "migrant hunters" and far-right orgs exacerbated situations that were already challenging to manage. In doing so, they pushed anti-migrant narratives that were picked up by the far right and elements of the reactionary press, compounding feelings of local grievance.
03.12.2024 12:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In addition to this, the riots were preceded by several years of consistent anti-migrant activism.
It is unsurprising that some of those places worst affected by the riots are those repeatedly targeted by far-right activists over the past three years.

Another one sentenced today for 6 years for arson during the racist rioting at the the Rotherham Holiday Inn during this summer's chaos.
He has 44 different appearances in court for over 100 previous offences.

Activists within Homeland call for the immediate deportation of all immigrants and a "zero immigrants" policy.
This would collapse various public services, force a massive Gov tax hike, further slow growth and lead to an inflationary surge. Unsurprisingly, they don't address any of that.
Really strong piece by my colleague @dlhnh.bsky.social on the widespread fascist crankery within the growing Homeland Party.

Many of them would happily screw each other over for a bit of extra clout.
21.11.2024 13:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's a massively high turnover of activists within Britain First. People get involved and then quickly become burnt out and irritated with Golding. It's a constant pattern.
21.11.2024 11:24 β π 15 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0One of the things that really comes through in this undercover investigation is just how frustrated the Britain First membership is with the leader, Paul Golding.
Golding is known for running activists into the ground and milking them constantly for cash, often for items that never actually appear.
If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.
If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
Another remarkable piece of work by my @hopenothate.org.uk colleagues. Harry infiltrated the anti-Muslim party Britain First and over a number of months was elevated to being a core activist.
What Britain First says publicly and what they say privately are very different. The truth will shock you.
Jeremy Clarkson, James Dyson, the Earl of Derby β theyβre up in arms about paying tax on the vast areas of land they own.
