Spent the weekend in the hospital after days of missed work thanks to mastitis... 10 lactation consultant visits for my first kid and enough pump parts to pump 6x a day when my first self weaned and now when told to pump and dump. Breastfeeding is an $$$ option and often not an option. Fund wic.

crazy how mfm didn't even bring it up during my pregnancy-- when i asked about novavax in pregnancy he asked what it was, googled it, and told me it didn't exist in the US (it's based in a town nearby....)

i would assume this is just the culture of your daycare- if one parent starts then others feel need to keep it up. this isn't a thing at my kid's preschool and never knew it was elsewhere

The 8 min after preschool drop off when I listen to war of the roses is my only time without a child or work all week, sometimes I linger in driveway to listen to the end.

so thankful our pediatrician happened to have it and my 7 month got her 2nd dose yesterday. if friends are still looking caplet pharmacy has for 5+ (a bit of a drive!). 2 friends went to cvs minute clinic with appointments and they ran out before kids were vaccinated. should not be this hard

Thanks for sharing. I'm a psychologist who brings universal interventions into schools. I, of course, support healthy eating, less screentime, more time to play, and less pressure and hw. I don't think teaching kids about emotions and how to manage them is ever harmful or makes schools a sanatorium
