Brett Meiselas: Erika Kirk showed immense strength speaking after her husband’s murder. But the event was hijackedβ€”Miller echoed Goebbels, Tucker spread anti-Semitism, and Trump ranted about tariffs and invading U.S. cities. Instead of uniting us, they exploited tragedy to fuel hate and division.

Williams: Youngkin’s OK with detaining a 19-year-old whose family stood up for America. Are you? Yes, ICE agents have quotas to meet. No, there aren't nearly as many bloodthirsty migrant criminals roaming our streets as you've been led to believe, which is why agents have been raiding workplaces,...

Today should have been Arman Momand’s first day back at school.

Instead, he’s detained at the Farmville Detention Center by ICE and faces deportation back to the Taliban-led country his family had to flee after his father assisted the U.S. military in Afghanistan.

I just can’t. This has hit me so hard, I can’t even explain how I’m feeling right now. I don’t know how to articulate the anger, rage, sadness, broken heartedness. The puncturing in my soul at how Rep. Collier has been treated. I can’t wrap my head around it. When I try, the pain is overwhelming.

Oh how great it would be if every Black player on Texas and Ohio State boycotted the game until Texas cancels the redistricting vote and Ohio pulls their National Guard from DC.
Those players have so much power and they don’t even use it.

a screenshot with the words "Meta is also looking at downsizing the A.I. division overall" highlighted.

The full screenshot reads:

On Tuesday, Meta is expected to announce that it will split its A.I. division - which is known as Meta Superintelligence Labs - into four groups, two people with knowledge of the plans said. One will focus on A.I. research; one on a potentially powerful A.I. called "superintelligence"; another on products; and one on infrastructure such as data centers and other A.I. hardware, they said.
The moves are aimed at better organizing Meta so it can develop A.I. products more quickly to compete with others, the people said.
Some A.I. executives are expected to leave, the people said. Meta is also looking at downsizing the A.I. division overall β€” which could include eliminating roles or moving employees to other parts of the company β€” because it has grown to thousands of people in recent years, the people said. Discussions remain fluid and no final decisions have been made, they said.

Bankruptcies in America just surged to their highest levels since… the last time Donald Trump was president.

Seems to be a pattern.

For folks worried about Newsom’s record, we are 3 years out from the General & no one is asking you to vote for him but slamming Trump’s with mockery works & I hope we are unified in taking him down. This is good strategy for where we are rn especially as he works to undermine the mid-terms.

We are outraged and deeply distressed that armed federal agents came onto our campusβ€”making arrests on the very ground where, in 1942, Japanese American families were forced to board buses bound for concentration camps. It was a deliberate act of provocation and intimidation.

Insurers Continue to Rely on Doctors Whose Judgments Have Been Criticized by Courts In dozens of cases ProPublica reviewed, judges found that some doctors working for these companies engaged in β€œselective readings” of medical evidence and β€œshut their eyes” to medical opinions…

One doctor’s recommendation to deny a 43-year-woman coverage β€œcontained errors on practically every aspect” of her condition, the Labor Department said in 2012.

United and other insurers continued to hire the doctor over the next decade.
