Okay, I did check and they are indeed faster - the first one takes 134 jiffies (1/60 sec), the second takes 161. Both take a few less if the screen's not being scrolled. And *this* version takes a whopping 280.

The c64 is sllllooooooooowwwwww.

I didn't check but both should be faster than the obvious implementation of "for 1 to 100, if divisible by 3 then print fizz, if divisible by 5 print buzz, if neither then print the number, next" because those divisibility checks require multiple floating point operations - c64 Basic has no MOD.

Then I made it slightly sillier by just filling in an entire array before printing it. The weird structure of the loop on lines 2/3 is due to how c64 Basic skips everything on a line after a false IF.

I think this is slower than the first one, but I didn't check.

I read a "nerd fails interview by implementing FizzBuzz in the most arcane way possible" post on HN and decided to try implementing it in c64 basic in a slightly silly manner. I was hoping for a one-liner but failed.
