The ICJ clarifies: all states have obligations to protect the climate. To take measures to prevent damages and ensure a clean, healthy & sustainable environment. A big milestone. Under Vanuatu’s leadership, #Germany, SIDS & others initiated this request to the #ICJ.

The incoming #COP30 Presidency was extremely active, listening, and seeking ways of achieving Mission 1.5. We all now need to bring our ideas and actions forward with determination. The time is now to engage actively to build the world we need.

The ethical Global Stocktake, co-chaired in Europe @ MariaSilva and Mary Robinson brings the very needed focus on the ethics of climate change- how to create radical collaboration with equity and justice at the core, respect each other and build trust together.

In this moment when there is an active attack to slow down this just transition, it is more important than ever to speak up, be courageous, and engage people in building this better world together.

#LCAW2025, with its over 700 events, was a strong demonstration of the drive forward to the clean economy. It was impressive to speak with the countries, cities, companies and citizens working for affordable energy, a prosperous & healthy economy and a stable climate.

Just arrived in London for the #COP30 #Global Ethical Stocktake & London Climate Action Week #LCAW to listen, engage, catalyze & build alliances to accelerate and deepen collaboration & just climate action. Important to come together in this moment. Looking forward to challenge and be inspired!
