My favorite author. I'm glad he had a nice long life.

I'm so glad I wrote to him a couple of years ago. I had sent him fan mail as a teenager (I'm 53 now), and I saved his response all this time, and when I wrote again I sent him a photocopy of it to demonstrate how important it was to me, and he wrote back again! Such a mensch.

1. Snorkeling! If I lived somewhere warm with a coast, I'd be doing it all the time. It's peaceful and pretty.
2. Trying new foods, especially from other cultures and countries. There are very few foods I won't at least try (natto comes to mind).

I don't know much about how BlueSky works, yet. Why is it good to block people from following you who haven't done anything wrong but just seem sketchy? Does simply having them as followers make your friends more likely to trust them?
