Last night, the parents ask me what I can eat for Xmas dinner. Remind parents that I've been vegetarian since last Xmas but there should be something I can eat on the menu. They run down the list.

Salad. It's the salad I can eat. I mean, they're trying, I guess. Not very hard but kinda, right?

There's two monsters in me: the psychology major that doesn't correct all of the bad faith takes on the Superman trailer regarding literally everything about Superman's history because that just feeds into attention addiction. But the former comic shop manager in me very much wants that heat.

Started my college classes tonight. Orientation said that I should expect to devote 20 hours per week to classwork. I didn't handle that info well. I've been jokingly saying that once school starts I'll be too busy for things but I didn't expect that to be a prediction. I guess I'm the Criswell now.

It's probably disconcerting for the ghosts in my apartment when I forget I have headphones on and start singing along with what I'm hearing. Just absolute silence in the place while putting away groceries then suddenly, "TOO MANY PUHHHHPIEEEEES!!" at like 3/4 singing volume happens.

The clinic is slow today so it's a perfect chance to check out the new cloud streaming beta update on the PlayStation Portal while I wait for the phone to ring. Still surprised at how the Portal is becoming a rad li'l device. They absolutely should put PS Vita games on it.

I mean, when we were kids, did all of the adults know just how exhausting being alive is but hid it from us tiny children so we would have false hope of eventually being cool adults? That's messed up to lie to a kid. Just tell young kids the truth of the horrible adulthood hellscape.

Well, on the bright side, at least with my anxiety spiking every time I'm on any social media app these days, I have considerably more free time for literally anything else.

Last night's first D&D session: Our characters are set up for talking and not so much fighting. First encounter is designed for info and is bandits. I fail my first persuasion check when they demand gold so I immediately give up and fire an arrow at the opponent's face. Think I've been a bit tense.

Tonight's the first night with the new D&D group and I'm stupidly excited. Reeeeally need a night of being out of my head thoughts for a bit.
