Perhaps we scare him because we are united in our opposition to ICE disappearing folks from our communities. They are trying to scare and intimidate us with their masked thugs. But we will continue to resist this thuggery. And CA is the 5th largest economy in the world, so Miller can suck on ICE.

I won’t disagree that we live in very different times. But I believe that every small act of resistance by enough of us amounts to a great force. It’s why they want to intimidate and discourage us. It won’t be as easy as it was in the past, but I’m not giving up hope. Let’s do what we can, all of us

Thinking about the Vietnam protests I attended in as a child, I replied, “Yes. It matters.”

…nor would I want to. Yes, I enjoy all the privileges of being White, but my husband can’t hide his brown skin, his country of origin, or his disability. He literally can’t run from any of that. So until my last breath upon this earth, they can see me for who I am. I won’t hide.

I respect where you’re coming from. I’m already a target if they start to come after people for their beliefs and ideologies that are contrary to theirs. I’m a member of what they would probably consider to be a “revolutionary Communist” religion, and so is my daughter. We can’t erase our past… 1/2

Of course, that’s up to you but I believe we’re stronger together and I’m not going to live my life in fear of being found out for who I am. I am vehemently opposed to this administration, to authoritarian/oligarchical rule and the loss of human rights, and I’ll go to my grave saying that out loud.
