Spot on. Thank you. I see it too. We’re coming together in larger numbers locally and we see other communities doing the same, and it’s inspiring. Learning new ways to help each other and esp our vulnerable immigrant neighbors.

“driving founders out of the state”. Dude. They don’t *have* to leave. It’s their unfettered greed that urges them to slither off to some godforsaken hellhole where they *don’t* have to pay their fare share of taxes and can continue to amass ever more wealth. It’s never enough. Greed is our undoing.

Let’s not forget the climate crisis. We’ve got capitalism to “thank”” for that as well.

Also “March for Billionaires”? At a time like this?!? Because…why? You crave attention? Public adulation? What do you need that you can’t just buy? (Like power and influence) Seriously. Read the room. We’re fighting for our democracy. Be a part of the resistance or step out of the goddamn way.

You create wealth for top CEOs and major shareholders, not for the minions. There are many folks who contribute enormously to society by saving our lives or teaching our kids but are not so generously remunerated. And frankly, no one needs a billion dollars. That’s wealth HOARDING. You’re hoarders.

I got over my cold. I know it seems silly - it was just a cold, but I’m just always so grateful to be able to throw off a pathogen and return to good health.
