You ain't wrong, but the Variety article that this is referencing doesn't actually say what this headline says it does. It doesn't even say this is Ellison's list. I woke up this morning ready to cancel Paramount+ and then read the actual article and realized that I'd been rage-baited.

While I am no fan, the Variety article doesn't actually say there's a blacklist. In fact, even the possibility of a list existing is not confirmed, and is barely even mentioned.

You can't make an AI actor any more than you can make an AI basketball player -- people like the aspirational aspect of watching talented HUMANS and feel wonder at their accomplishments. Watching "Tilly Norwood" act is like staying home and watching your dryer spin.
