7) The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger. Wasn’t sure as the story reached the middle, but it really grew on me. Holden’s all over the place, but the ending came together brilliantly and I understood it and Holden’s mentality in the end! #booksky

4) The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells. A classic for a reason and it still holds up! The alien threat feels genuinely real, but it's the human response that hits hardest. More about survival, the human response and resilience than solely focusing on the invasion. Definitely worth the read

I am deeply moved by Forest of Dean resident Richard Wellington, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2018 and given 12 months to live.

Six years on, Richard continues to defy the odds.

Been a while since I’ve posted but happy with how my roast turned out today! Hope everyone’s having a good #Easter 😃

#Scotland is leading the way in the creation of a proxy measure, and we were delighted to be a part of these discussions as we seek to achieve a faster, better diagnosis for all those affected by brain tumours.

Currently as a result of primary #braintumours being unstageable and blood cancers being difficult to stage there is currently no way of measuring the rate of progress to enable a faster, earlier diagnosis for these disease types. We are exploring how this could be resolved
