I am going to open a bottle of champagne the day your useless ass gets primaried. It's coming and I will enjoy it.

This is what primaries are for. They're utterly useless, kick them all to the curb.

Like six people could have spontaneous, inexplicable car trouble and create something incredibly funny.

Warner is being duplicitous. He pushed for this behind the scenes but let Kaine take the vote so he doesn't have to attach his name to a toxic bill. Primary his ass.

It depends. Many of us live in states with open primaries, so party affiliation doesn't actually do anything other than put a letter by your name. If you have closed primaries, stay in and be a problem. If you have open ones, who cares?

Does anyone know who is still left to vote?

Chuckie is up in '28. If he can't stop this, he isn't much of a leader at all.

You can tell your caving colleagues from me that they are all spineless, useless, craven weasels and every single one of them will have this vote hung around their necks come election time.

You sniveling, craven bitch. Get the fuck back to the floor and save our damn health care.

We’ve only ever asked them to try. They won’t even do that.

Citation question: when crediting your book, what is your preferred nom de plume, considering it was published under a name that is no longer in use?

A&M really should have jumped Indiana after the Aggies put a whooping on 19 Mizzou and Indiana needed an endgame miracle to squeak by fully-collapsed Penn State.

Sometimes things just get cut because they don't fit or they aren't important enough or any number of other reasons. I'm quite certain most journalists will tell you they have a stack of things they wrote, even things they're really proud of, that never saw the light of day.

Not to take anything away from the clear-eyed and honest article, I find myself wondering if this was really written as an obit. It reads quite like a "where are they now" piece that only became relevant enough to publish on the news of Watson's death. Perhaps that's revealing about his legacy.

A (possibly fake? It really doesn't matter for the purposes of this joke) headline that reads, "Sources: Trump wants Commanders' new D.C. stadium named for him".

Charlie Kirk is worth more to them dead than alive. In life, he was a racist idiot in his thirties who argued with teenagers for YouTube clicks. In death, he's a martyr who was perfect and gentle and was brutally murdered by an imaginary leftist. That's worth way more to them than his reality.

The funniest thing about Rush is that he was maybe the most influential right wing influencer of many people's lifetimes, yet the moment he died he was instantly forgotten. No one is thinking back fondly on his best segments, they tore up his empire for themselves and forgot him. As he deserved.

They have a vested interest in only remembering things that contribute to their persecution fetish, not the bad things they help inspire.
