Good "easy food when stuff is hard" thread.

My "no energy, need health" combo is a cabbage or kale-based bagged salad, plus the packs of rotisserie chicken white meat they sell at Costo. 2.5 lbs for about $10. Break it up into 10 4-oz portions, wrap each in waxed paper, put 4 in a freezer bag. Each is one serving to mix w/bagged salad.

I don't trust liars when they lie to me from behind protections they arranged for themselves so no one can compel them to be honest.

oh man, you got the top-to-bottom combo, I've had a couple of those (GERD plus post-GERD-surgery IBS, fun). I remember saying to the tech "just don't mix up the tubes, OK?" to make her laugh just before the room filled with clouds and feathers and I woke up under 10 blankets.

The mammogram is much less unpleasant than I'd been led to believe, though obviously YMMV. My greatest suffering this past time is that the tech was chatty and I did not need to know all her issues with her Giant Adult Son.

I appreciate the fact that once a year, I can mail someone my poop and not get put on a "must stay 1000 yards from a church" list.

Higher dose. The sedation for colonoscopies is "twilight" (lighter) sedation because they sometimes have to ask you to move a bit on the table, plus you have to transfer on and off it, and they don't want you unconscious and deadweight.

Oh also, I recommend that your "chaser" beverage be ice cold. I mean basically if I could have just chugged LG Gatorade frozen margs made with reposado tequila, I would have, but there were a few drawbacks I could think of so I opted for the more moderate approach. But do a flavored "chaser." Nasty.

Clear liquids (no red/blue) - as far as I'm concerned, the peak beverage for this is the Lime Cucumber Gatorade, because it's just salty enough that you don't get overwhelmed with sickly sweetness, and it effectively combats the prep taste.

I'll also note that vodka is a clear liquid....

Mad that people like him and not them, while also being some of the most unlikeable people you've ever hoped not to have to meet.

Children are amazing and hilarious, and adults who appreciate them are some of the best people in the world.
