Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. I was out in 2020 Dallas and I was out 6/9/25. The atmosphere went from chill to mace within 5 minutes after the riot team got on the ground.

I might want nothing more in these pictures to lay on the kitchen floor and cry, and I might by the end of the night. And that too is seen as just how life is.

Her. Them. They are why its worth it to continue to try and be the best me I can each day.

But with that said, I have her. And my very small in person local community. They are the type people that love your sad with such nonchalant ease.

For a moment I was embarrassed about just how devastating this loss is to me.

Then I actually wrote out all the things I have gained and accomplished because with help from Tiktok and I am no longer embarrassed, just empty and furious

The last 5 years of my life have been the most transformative of my entire life. But in the 'You have to take it to the studs and foundation' sorta way.

And at every hurdle I found community even if I didnt talk back into it much.
