I’ve got multiple attendees to an event. Great! Can I email them updates easily? Nope! Can I export a list of attendees and their RSVP details easily? Nope!

The only benefit MS Bookings has is the absence of ads and unfortunately that is the most important benefit I need.

Moving away from Signupgenius at work because it is the equivalent of standing in Times Square with all its ads, I decided to give Microsoft Bookings a shot. Ad-free! Integration with our calendars! Sounds ideal!

What an optimist I was to think a Microsoft product could be an ideal solution.

I love that my initial idea to move my blog off Substack has transformed into running a virtual private server and a home media server and I'm so deep in this rabbit hole

I’m in! I signed in with my bsky account but I see what they mean by creating a separate account for it if you want to somewhat recreate the IG experience instead of it being a media viewer for your existing bsky follows.

Update: After hours of trying to figure this out, I'm happy to announce I haven't gotten it to work yet... but I ended up in a rabbit hole and decided to try my hand at managing a VPS for the first time.
