I had caught up with the OG Fraggle Rock, as well as the newer Back to the Rock, and both shows remained bloody excellent! So I decided to dust of my old sona Okki and give her a small makeover (though granted, not much has changed about her). Anyway, you should watch Fraggle Rock!

I can definitely see that with established characters, even previously side characters. They all have a story to tell.

It's definitely an ebb and flow. Sometimes you need input, sometimes you need processing time and sometimes you create output. Just like the factory. The world we inhabit makes it difficult to embrace boredom.

Having worked in a warehouse with long periods of time when nothing interesting happened, it was prime time for ideating.

Plot always. Sometimes it takes way too long for the characters to come along. Though I do have characters sitting in a waiting room who need a story to go into.

Yeah! I wasn't sure if it was ever on in Australia. So hoped you got the reference.

I'll always remember the M*A*S*H episode where Klinger is fainting to prove he's unwell and unfit to be in the military and then the doctors around him say that no one falls backwards when they faint. So he learns to faint falling forward. Was that in your research or did they just make that up?

Haha, it does at that! And I learned to type b with my right hand, but when I had a split keyboard, the b was on the left. So that's what I mean.

Split keyboards taught me to type the letter b with either hand. I miss having that ergonomic design.

I absolutely do love them but don't have a proper computer space, so alas they are not for me. Yet! The time will come.

It still gets done! But I've been eyeing a Freewrite lately as one way to mimic writing by hand but faster because I have high typing speed. Also love clicks keyboard and my laptop is insufficient in this area.

Averaging about 500 words during #5amwritersclub most mornings. And I think that's okay. I am excited to finish the draft, dive into craft books then come back to draft two stronger.
