This morning I am again recommending The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer. When you have abundance, share it. Whether that be food or joy or anything else. And just because you want/need one and not the other, doesn't mean there shouldn't be both.

Is this the intention of the HR department has for that position? Nope, probably not. But one can dream.

To be fair, while it's a terrible technology, if various entities are going to shove it down the throats of college students and professors, they need someone to teach them just what it is and isn't and how to avoid falling prey to it.

I took a huge chunk out of a chapter, and it's better for it!

Close-ups in TV and movies no longer have the intended emotional effect on me ever since I learned that nearly everyone has one nostril larger than the other. Ryan Gosling? Yeah, it's his left. Ariana Grande? Also left.
