I once had a nasty acquaintance get her heart ripped out by a vampire. Quite a release. No actual humans were hurt.

My 5 yr old grandson traveled thru Newark for the 1st time a few weeks ago. The first thing he told me was of the awful smell.

My grown son's dog had to be put down in 2020. I felt almost as bad as him. To honor Deuce's memory, I wrote a fantasy where Deuce was the protective, gentle giant as a way to assuage my grief. Spiffing the book up for publication now. Btw; Deuce started out as Zeus, but that changed.

I loved our pages! You kept the stacks ready for readers. My duties usually included circ desk, but in our tiny library, I did a lot more.

I'm a senior who gets an average of 3 potential spam calls a day. I say 'potential' because I screen my calls with an app and that's how they flag it. I don't answer a call unless I recognize the number. If it's a real call, they can leave me a message. Amazing how many do NOT leave a message.
