This is exactly what they’ve done in Minnesota. They are a secret police. They have left abandoned cars in the streets and raided homes without warrants. ICE is no longer a legitimate law enforcement agency. Dismantle it.

so, ICE is leaving (theoretically, believe it when we see it) but there will never be any investigation—or justice—for Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Black and brown neighbors, including children, that are being detained by ICE are not even being asked to show an ID. They are being violently ripped out of cars, from schools, bus stops & grocery stores & flown out of MN to a hell hole in TX before they can let their families know what happened.

when unknown men come into our government center to grab teenagers, is there anyone that verifies somehow that they are actually federal agents?

Government-issued Real IDs and driver’s licenses aren’t proof of citizenship, and most people aren’t walking around with a passport.

My sense of Minnesota today is that there’s less tear gas and the same amount of unlawful detention, destruction of families, loss of livelihood, people in hiding.

i think a lot of people who are not in minnesota and/or are stuck in mainstream media bubbles don’t understand how little actual immigration status matters right now. none of this is “immigration enforcement” in any practical sense, and the media either doesn’t know or is choosing not to tell them.
