In a taxi home from the concert. We just passed three cops cars with smashed up front ends being loaded onto tow trucks. Taxi driver says it was probably a police chase. Not the first one this week.

I tried the chat thing on their website while I'm waiting. It informed me it would not be able to connect me to an agent and told me to try the contact page for self-serve options. So this is going great.

I've been waiting 36 minutes already. Anyone wanna open a pool on how many minutes it is (total) before they finally answer?

I cancelled my Rogers plan back in May and switched to another carrier for half the price. Rogers owes me a refund. Will they pay it? Of course not. They need me to call them and tell them I want them to pay it. So here I sit on hold waiting for their one solitary employee to pick up the damn phone.

At the height of lockdown, my doorbell rang - which was shocking enough. When I answered, it was my next door neighbour. She handed me a cake, said, “I’m watching too much Bake Off,” and headed home again. 😂

I’m home! Functioning on… not a lot of sleep. I sucked up to the cat, who has fully renewed my patina of fur. And now I’m going to bowl straight into unpacking and errands, because if I stop moving I will fall down.

Rode the airport shuttle with two Canadian Forces guys in their 40s who had, like, 300lbs of camo-print gear between them. All three of us spent the 10-min ride fangirling over Alanis Morisette. They knew more trivia than I did.
