I ended up with a 1,2 and 4. Keep thinking I need a 3 to fill that hole but never got around to it.

Good job!

I wish you a vast amount of luck in telling them that.

I look forward to seeing a video on the subject.

He also made a really stupid vid about the science of knitting and got shit on for it. Removed it from the list and didn't admit he fucked up.

I can't vote for Zohran Mamdani today, so instead I voted against a magaet running for mayor in Topeka Kansas.

We gotta do what we can, when we can.

Great character actor though. Particularly in his westerns.

You are expecting War & Peace from a 70s style Kung Fu revenge film?

That is like saying All the President's Men does not have enough action.

You should go take a nap.

After a long drought, I hit the trifecta of Atlas Western artists:

Two Maneelys, two Severns and a Russ Heath!

I just love this movie because the lead characters say "Screw this" after dealing with the giant mantis and each goes into the Private Eye business!

Now that is a possibility. The Greek Gods being the assholes they were, might have kept the pupper alive out of spite. Then letting it kick off when Odysseus got home.

Not to mention it is unlikely anyone was caring for the guy. Odysseus' wife was banging guys left and right. She wasn't paying attention to the dog.

The guys standing in line wasn't caring for the dog. No way in hell a dog would last 20 years back then.

I understand that puppers today have the advantage of modern science and regular vet visits.

However,

Odysseus' dog didn't have this. Dogs back then didn't last that long. They ate scraps, usually what was found in the streets. They had no medical care.

We won't mention the 10 years he spent getting back home and the dog should have passed away by then.

It was only three issues, but it was magazine format. That is why it is overlooked mainly.

However, there is a "special" edition of issue 1 signed by Barron, Rude and cover artist Paul Guiacy

Badger was a fun comic is the early days. Now for a complete reading of it and Nexus, you will need some issues from Comico. That was the original publisher before both titles moved over to First.

But not reading Badger before you meet him in Nexus isn't harmful.

02.11.2025 21:07 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Nexus will also introduce you to Mike Barron's other First character: Badger.

GrimJack (John Gaunt) appeared in a couple of issues of Nexus as cameos, but not Dreadstar. Crossroads was a limited series where the First Characters interacted with one another in groups. I want to say issue 3 was the GJ, Dreadstar, Nexus one.

Nexus is great fun!

If you skip the crossroads team up with Dreadstar and Nexus, you won't be missing anything. Such potentional and totally missed it.
