After a long drought, I hit the trifecta of Atlas Western artists:

I just love this movie because the lead characters say "Screw this" after dealing with the giant mantis and each goes into the Private Eye business!

The guys standing in line wasn't caring for the dog. No way in hell a dog would last 20 years back then.

Odysseus' dog didn't have this. Dogs back then didn't last that long. They ate scraps, usually what was found in the streets. They had no medical care.

However, there is a "special" edition of issue 1 signed by Barron, Rude and cover artist Paul Guiacy

Badger was a fun comic is the early days. Now for a complete reading of it and Nexus, you will need some issues from Comico. That was the original publisher before both titles moved over to First.

But not reading Badger before you meet him in Nexus isn't harmful.

Nexus will also introduce you to Mike Barron's other First character: Badger.

GrimJack (John Gaunt) appeared in a couple of issues of Nexus as cameos, but not Dreadstar. Crossroads was a limited series where the First Characters interacted with one another in groups. I want to say issue 3 was the GJ, Dreadstar, Nexus one.

Nexus is great fun!

If you skip the crossroads team up with Dreadstar and Nexus, you won't be missing anything. Such potentional and totally missed it.
