I think they may have taken *slight* liberties with the gloves? Or maybe it's the way the costume is distorting on his arms. Even his first costume was my favourite committed to celluloid... I never really cared for the Maguire or Garfield ones.

Who's the inker on that piece? I can't read the signature. I know Kirby's eyesight suffered as he got older, but I'm not sure they had to change it THAT much. 🫤

One of the first comics I ever owned was a paperback book of Peanuts strips. (And even at about 8 years old, I was savvy enough to realise they were old strips because the art didn't look quite the same as the more recent strips.) I read it until the pages fell out.

People are tribal; when I was at school it was Spectrum vs Commodore 64 owners. I remember being quite shocked when I bought a Speccie and was mocked by friends who had a C64. Not that I ever harassed a journalist - and not just because there was no internet!
