I have a pile of xerox copies of old cover blurbs and titles that was given to me and the other on staff letterers at Marvel when I worked in the bullpen. The majority of these are from the 70s and were done by Danny Crespi. Some really fantastic work here!

There were a bunch of continuity issues in Secret Wars, like the fact that Professor X had regained the use of his legs, but then was back in his wheelchair in Secret Wars. In Secret Wars #2, Shooter provided a kind of catch-all explanation for everything that was wrong:

I was very glad to see that Al Milgrom got a share of the $1 million that his cover art for Amazing Spider-Man #194 sold for a while ago. That should be the norm.

I never understood why they got rid of Orion's helmet. Was there an in-story reason for it? A typically quirky, instantly recognisable Kirby design replaced by the most generic-looking superhero costume ever. 🤦‍♂️

I never liked this pronunciation... I always said "Mixy-zip-talk" as a kid. 😄
