This is totally plausible. I see variance in b school grads who have had significant exposure or background in other disciplines vs those who don't.

I feel for your neighbor - have heard of those metrics and 🤮

I work with a couple standard-bearing vendors in the sector and all I can say is b school ruins everything.

After hitting significant burnout from academic med and global public health, I switched sectors about 2.25 years ago.
I'm still never not stunned by the inefficiencies, unreliability, and straight up inexcusable IT/data mgmt in finance and wealth management. There are better and worse firms, but
