Anyway, it’s certainly better than expected given recent years, but it’s probably time to accept that this level is what we should expect from now on. Ahh well. Gives us something to do.

The promo video is great, but none of the themes in it really connect with the content of the logo. Are grit and tenacity synonymous with the California ocean?

Not trying to say any region’s pride is wrong, but how much of it is specifically LA?

New this time around is the inclusion of “Los Angeles.”

We’ll see if it’s just used here or officially a part of everything, but it’s reminiscent of the Clippers’ [whatever] edition unis.

Good-faith question: Has LA adopted that treatment generally?

Relative to the others, this one is nicely executed. Colors are compelling, ocean waves look nice, but overall it’s still a low ceiling.

It’s curious the frame of the numerals isn’t consistent year to year. Some, it’s chrome, some not.

Same layout that’s been around since LI, similar execution going back to LVI. We can say the league has been successful in their goal to feature the trophy consistently. Has it been worth it?

Adding to an old thread 👆. Super Bowl LIX. Man, never seen a more interesting blowout.

This fan visited every NFL stadium this season to highlight wheelchair accessibility (Gift Article) Ortiz went to as many as four games in one weekend and saw three games in a week four times during his season-long tour.

NFLN: This is probably the facelift ESPN could use.

YouTube: Too much white. Score bugs are for reference, not attention.

Netflix: it’s relevant to mention that Netflix has a show titled Nobody Wants This.

Score bugs:

NBC: nailed it.

FOX: Never liked the transparency. It’s unique and innovative from the OG bug network, but it doesn’t hold up.

ESPN: It’s tried and true. Feels dated, but not sure what they could do differently.

CBS: new hotness. Capitalizes on NBC’s solid foundation.

Rivalry:

A couple were fine-to-okay, but only having one team wear them in each game was weird.

Favorite uni matchup:
