That air looks breezy and DRY

A shallow basket full of summer veggies is set out on the grass. There’s a plethora of long, thin eggplants with glossy purple skin, two big green tomatoes with some pink blushing up from underneath, a large yellow tomato with purple shoulders, green jalapeños and a bunch of red hot peppers.

Half the fun of these exceptionally long, super skinny eggplants has been roasting them whole and serving them up on big plates.

Speaking of which — wtf but they are also saying it’s legal for unidentified, masked agents to kidnap people off the street without a warrant, accuse them of made-up crimes, stash them in a secret location, and give *their lawyers* (and local district attorneys!) the finger when they ask questions

A twitter post from July 28, 2020 that reads "So if you get kidnapped by random people in vans nowadays, you're supposed to just submit, in case it's actually law enforcement officers doing the abducting?"

What's happening is an abomination but also an established tactic that will take time, effort, and legislation to get rid of. The tweet below is 5 years old, and U.S. law enforcement has been at it a lot longer than that. Not trying to discourage anyone, just saying brace for the long struggle here.
