Listening to Trump Admin officials, you'd never guess that the US stock market underperformed the rest of the world in 2025.

This is a big loss. An EBV vaccine especially might well help reduce multiple sclerosis (although it'll take time to tell). But seeing friends & their families whose lives have been impacted over decades MS, it's hard not to feel anger at this Luddism from the Trump administration and its lackeys.

The Trump administration is building the very thing conservatives and libertarians have always feared most: an unaccountable federal leviathan, untethered from the Constitution and hostile to our individual rights.

I live in a very white Ohio exurb with zero ice activity and people attended the most recent co commissioners meeting to demand no cooperation with ice. Every suburban community relates to Minnesota.

It's not a new observation at this point but that wild Noem/Lewandowski story in WSJ really brings home the extent to which all the Trump 2 cabinet-level goblins see their jobs as flying private, doing short-form video, and screaming at underlings. They all hate each other and none of them can read.

I feel this way about pretty much all vaccine-preventable infectious diseases. You shouldn't be allowed to dump cyanide into municipal drinking water and you shouldn't be allowed to recreationally spread viruses around shared public spaces.
