Just reposting this again because pro-high-car-use campaigners and councillors are claiming traffic evaporation doesn't happen...

In the debate over whether shopping strips should be directly accessible by cars, importantly, vehicular access can still occur, but priority is given to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. Cars are given access as a guest, or subject to everyone else’s safety. #activetravel #copenhagen
