Very glad that in these tough times our billionaires are still eating good. What would we do without all of the fine products they make? How could we survive?

As a glasses wearer myself I found it very difficult to dress as Batman for Halloween. I basically was only able to wear the mask during my entrance to the party because otherwise I was basically blind (as a bat?)

I'm coming up with some new and innovative ideas for the world of comics. Still waiting for my phone call from DC Comics.

The end credits scene. There once was a time when you wouldn't dare miss the surprise twist after the credits of your favorite Marvel. These days its usually not worth waiting just to see a character you don't recognize show up only to never return again.

Bad Dudes. If you find that these dudes resemble certain figures in politics, you might actually be a domestic terrorist. Sorry you found out this way. As for me I never intended to mock or make fun of anyone with my art. All art should be devoid of meaning. I have always said this.

KAYFABETOBER 2023. I rarely am able to make time for the October drawing challenges. Some years I try and get one or two done. In 2023 I burned myself out doing as many as I could for Kayfabetober. These are some of my favorites, especially that Doctor Strange drawing.

Here's a blast from the past. A decade ago I was working as a freelance artist and I attended a couple of street festivals to sell some of my wears. I made this cool magnett display which I still find to be really cool. I think the display was better than any of the magnets I made.

I have to fill an even number of pages for the printed comic book so I was making some ad parodies. I got stuck for a while because some of my ideas weren't clicking. Then I had a great idea for using these parody fast food mascots I sketched a couple years ago. Excited for this one.

Some of the index card drawings this week. I film videos of these and post them on the other socials, but the video uploading here is a little clunky still and I'm taking a break from that kind of frustration.

Making art is a necessity for life, but sometimes being an artist is torturous. The grind can really mess with a person. I wonder if it might just be better to be a human who makes art. Imagine that, a more peaceful life and a storage unit full of unsold paintings. Hmmm...

Let me teach you the wrong way and the right way to draw an eye.

The problem is that in Love and Thunder, Thor is acting out of character for the sake of humor. In Ragnarok Thor isn't really any dumber than he was in the first two movies, the jokes are just more clever. Also, all the humor takes precedent over any story or character moments, unlike Ragnarok.
